CANONSBURG POTTERY
The Canonsburg Pottery was founded in 1900 by John George.
John was a nephew of W. S. George.
In 1909, the name was changed to Canonsburg Pottery Company and
specialized in dinnerware, producing about 25,000 dozen pieces a week...
Steubenville´s equipment and molds were sold to Canonsburg Pottery after Steubenville´s closing in 1959. Adam Antique and Rose Point, two of Steubenville´s popular patterns, were sold into the 1960´s under the Steubenville name. A line called Partio was also sold in the 1960´s under the Steubenville name, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
